I might just stick to this then since I'm restarting my server often bc I'm still learning docker. No concern in that pihole runs on most bare metal or docker. The thing to think about is down time and dependencies. You want your DNS and DHCP servers to have the least down time and dependencies.

Even if there is then building and designing a new application will require the same amount of time to that of an android application.
